From chasing turkey in the spring to fishing and setting crawfish traps in the summer to setting trap lines and hunting deer in the fall and winter, his year-round obsessions have developed into an intimate relationship with the land.
Trey attended Georgia Southern University where he graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Biology with his course load focusing on natural resource management. To help with tuition costs, Trey worked on a 20-acre organic farm in Guyton, GA, which truly revolutionized his idea of what a parcel of land could provide for its owner.
After graduating University, Trey began working as a ranch hand and hunting guide on the 9-thousand-acre Flying-A Ranch in Bandera, TX. Being located in the heart of the Texas hill country surrounded with nothing but land and wildlife, he was afforded the opportunity to hone his time management skills.
